Allotropes of carbon atoms

ALLOTROPES OF CARBON ATOMS 

The various physical forms in which carbon can exists is called allotropes of carbon.  

There are three types of allotropes of carbon. 

1. GRAPHITE 

it is one of the allotrope of carbon atoms in which atoms arranged in sheet like structure.

It conduct electricity.

2.DIAMOND

it is the strongest allotropes having extraordinary brilliance.

It doesn't conduct electricity. 

3.BUCKMINISTERFULLERENCE

it is newly discovered allotropes of carbon which have football shaped structure. 

In this 60 carbons exists in structure. 

If we burns all of three allotropes than ash will not proceed.
